Aquatic programming

An aquatic program membership entitles you to participate in programmed activities offered throughout the summer season.

 

• Olympic Way Swimming Lessons
• Swim Team^*
• Diving Team^*
• Water-Polo Team^*
• Artistic swimming Team^*
• Aquatic fitness (aquafitness, master)

Public swim is not included in aquatic program subscriptions.
^*Additional charges applicable.

Swimming lessons by session

It is possible to register your child for a single swimming session lasting a few weeks without subscribing to the entire aquatic program.

Aquatic program membership (does not include public swim):

 

• Family^* – $440 + tax ($415 before June 1)
• Individual – $250 + tax ($235 before June 1)
• Individual student** and senior 65+ – $205 + tax ($195 before June 1)

 

• Competition team*** – $25 + tax per participant and per team

^*Family membership includes adults and children residing at the same address, for a maximum of 5 people. A fee of $53,25 + tax ($50 before June 10) will be charged for each additional child.
^**The fee for individual student membership is offered to 16-year-olds who hold a student card.
^***An additional $25 + tax fee is added to the family and individual membership rates for each participant registering for a competitive team. For example, if the same participant registers for both swimming and diving teams, the additional fee will be $50 + tax.

Registration for a single-session swimming course

 

• Child – $100 + tax

You must pay your membership fees via our online registration platform (Sport-Plus software). If you are a new customer, you must create your family file when you first log in. You can then access it at any time to make registrations, manage your family members, change your contact details and view your transaction history.

Once the registration period begins, you’ll be able to add outdoor pool membership packages to your shopping cart and pay online using a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card, VISA debit or MASTERCARD debit^*.

Register / Login

^*Online transactions will appear on your credit card statement as SPORTMAX. A $30 fee will be charged for all unjustified chargeback requests.

Competition Team’s activities take place over a period of 8 weeks, from June 23 to August 15, 2025. Final schedule will be available in June.

You can register your child for one or more sessions of swimming lessons, at your convenience, with an aquatic program subscription. You can also register your child for a single session without a membership.

Swimming program, similar to The Olympic Way, is made up of several levels depending on the age and skills of the swimmers.

Sportmax offers private swimming lessons for personalized instruction to achieve specific swimming goals & objectives. Private lessons are open to all.

How much does it cost?

• $30 + tax, for a single lesson of 30 minutes

How to reserve a private lesson?

The application form will be available on June 14, 2025.

No applications will be accepted at the pool.

The coordinators will contact you to book your course, subject to availability. To confirm your reservation, you will need to pay the registration fee.

Adapted swimming lessons for children and teenagers with special needs will be available next season. According to requirements, the participant will be paired with an instructor (1:1 ratio).

Lessons will run according to group swimming schedules.

Swimming lessons schedules

Adapted swimming lessons are in no way linked to aquatic program subscriptions. The participant must register and pay the fees for each session in which he or she wishes to take an adapted swimming course.

The fee for an adapted swimming lesson is the same as for a group lesson, $100 + tax per session.

As our resources are limited, please put the participant on the waiting list if no space is available. The coordinator will contact you to assess needs and discuss possibilities. We will make every effort to offer adapted swimming lessons to as many children as possible.

Future lifeguards must complete a training program recognized by the Lifesaving Society.

There are 4 required courses to become a lifeguard:

• Bronze Medallion
• Bronze Cross
• Standard first aid
• National Lifeguard

Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross will be offered from June 2025.
